Your role includes managing the front of house team, coaching and guiding them to deliver great customer service.
You will lead by example and deliver a high standard of care to every customer. Serving at the till taking orders and keeping the back of house team informed, ensuring good communication is maintained.
You will ensure all staff are having regular reviews to ensure all staff are performing to the best of their abilities and training and development of staff is kept in focus.
Responsible for controlling bookings and customer enquiries, delegating where possible and escalating where needed.
Developing new systems and procedures to improve the standards and efficiently of the café operations.
Days off will be flexible, working 5 out of 7 days a week. You will create the rotas with the head chef. At the end of the month, you will collate the hours worked and submit them for payroll.
Working with the head chef to create and deliver events at the café. Both day time and evening events throughout the year.
You will update all social media channels for the café, to post and engage with customers.
Located at the King Edward Mine Museum, Camborne. The building has been completely refurbished and an extension added to create a fantastic café.
